Catfish Bay

Catfish Bay is a 22-acre water skiing attraction in Sioux Falls, owned and operated by the Sioux Falls Water Ski Club, which hosts weekly waterskiing shows throughout the summer. These shows include human pyramids, jumps, barefoot skiing, ballet, lifts, and other thrilling events. A concession area, bleachers, and picnic area are available for warm-weather family fun.

With more than 180 retail shops and restaurants, the area’s largest shopping center attracts visitors from eastern South Dakota, southwestern Minnesota, northwestern Iowa, and parts of Nebraska. Located just east of I-29, Empire is within walking distance of several hotels and restaurants.
The Great Plains Zoo and Delbridge Museum of Natural History

The 45-acre Great Plains Zoo features over 600 animals from around the world including the Asian Cat Habitat, Bear Canyon, and the new African Savannah. Also, see the popular Children’s Zoo, which gives visitors a chance to interact with the animals. Falls Park

At Falls Park, visitors can see the city’s namesake as well as some of the first buildings built in Sioux Falls. The park is home to the free, historic Wells Fargo Park Sound and Light Show, which is shown each evening one-half hour after sunset, weather permitting.

This is the region’s premier cultural, educational and entertainment center located in the historic former Washington High School in down Sioux Falls.
