Job Summary: 

Our Guest Service Extraordinaire’s welcome and register guests to the park and assist in general office sales and operations.  As the first impression of the park, Guest Service Extraordinaire’s exemplify the fun, family friendly environment and top notch customer service our guests expect.  This position reports to the Campground Manager and park owners.

 

Essential Job Duties: (these duties include, but are not limited to):

  1. Provide professional and courteous service to our guests.
  2. Greets guests and campground visitors, provides information on campground amenities, services, and policies.
  3. Operate the campground office including sales, stocking, merchandising, and housekeeping duties.
  4. Resolve minor guest complaints to the satisfaction of the customer, inform manager of major problems, complaints, and disturbances.
  5. Answer phones and emails in a prompt, efficient and friendly manner.
  6. Operate computer and provide accurate accounting.
  7. Maintain a proper cash drawer and provide accurate handling of monies.
  8. Ensure all guests have a safe, positive and entertaining experience.
  9. Provide professional and courteous service to our guests.
  10. Establish and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers.

 

Other Job Functions:

  1. Custodial and/or grounds keeping duties when necessary.
  2. Assist with recreational programing when necessary.
  3. Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  1. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  2. Communication & Relationship skills.
  3. Typing & General computer skills.
  4. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  5. Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions accurately.
  6. Ability to learn technical aspects of the registration process.
  7. Ability to prioritize and work efficiently while under pressure.
  8. Knowledge of camp-resort facilities, activities, and area services.
  9. Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
  10. Personable, enjoy working with children/people
  11. Possess excellent organization.
  12. Possess the ability to manage and complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
  13. Possess exceptional guest relations skills
  14. Weekend hours are required

 

Physical Requirements:

This position is a physically active position.  Employee is regularly required to stand, walk and run.  Must be able to stand for long periods of time, stoop, kneel, and crouch.  Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.  Employee is frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions (hot and humid, rainy, extreme temperatures, airborne particles)
